It's great having keys that light up on your PDA, and it makes those late night browsing or accounting sessions all the easier.

However, having light-up keys on your keyboard makes a surprising impact on battery power and so it's good to have the option of turning them off and on as you wish.

Keylight allows you to do exactly that.

The program is designed for the Treo 700w and 750v, although it works with many other devices, such as the HTC TyTn and the MDA Pro.

All you need to do is hit the program icon to toggle the lights on your keyboard on and off. It's that simple.

There's no interface to speak of in the program and you get nothing in the way of options or settings.

I guess you don't really need this though because the program is designed to fill just a basic need.

If you're looking for a way to quickly turn keyboard lights on and off, Keylight obliges with no frills.

Keylight allows you to toggle the keyboard LEDs on or off for most devices with a keyboard. The application allows you to activate and deactivate the keyboard LEDs on Treo 700w/750v, HTC TyTn, MDA Pro, MDA III and others.
